This is a Dictionary for future students in COM300 at the University of Washington.

We're going to focus on social media, specifically collaboration.This compendium will shed light on the lingo as well as provide examples. The focus is on terms invented after 1980.

As a reference, here's the original assignment:
"(1) Digital Media Dictionary
If there is interest, use WetPaint (wiki) or Google docs (requires gmail account) or WordPress (as group blog) to develop a directory of terminology related to this course and digital media. Team members would decide on scope and choose a publishing tool, with guidance from me."

The site has five content pages and one project management page:

    I put a brief description of Yelp on the Opinion page. I am thinking that, given the nature of this entry, maybe some framework on what type of functionality is included in a site would be in order.
